Letter from Terri's Brother
Week of August 30, 2010

Dear Friends,

As you are well aware, we fight daily for other families, trying to protect their loved ones from what is becoming a growing anti-life attitude in many of our health care facilities across the nation. Indeed, the only way Terri’s Foundation can continue this raging battle is with your continued help and support.

We wanted to share a recent call for help Terri’s Foundation received from a family fighting for a young woman’s life in California after she suffered a serious brain-injury in an auto accident. The threat was made to remove her food and water. Thankfully, this young woman is currently out of harms way and in the care of her mother. We are counseling the family and helping them with legal aid so that her daughter will continue making progress.

We Need Your Support More Than Ever!

We are dedicated to continue to fight these battles, but your financial support is desperately needed. As one of our best and kindest supporters since Terri’s death, we plan to share similar success stories with you so you know that your faith and investment in Terri’s Foundation truly matters. And we thank God – for five years – that we’ve managed to survive, but the bad economy has our Foundation strapped as many of our great friends have simply been unable to give over the last 18 months.

We are asking you to help us today to make the most generous gift you can which will enable us to continue to stand up for families and protect those who are being devalued by this culture of death” simply because they have brain injuries. Please click here to donate.

As someone who we recently helped wrote:

“There are no words good enough that can express the full gratitude that we have for this wonderful Foundation all we can do is say that they literally saved our mother’s life and for that we are eternally grateful.”

We believe no one is unworthy of life, and the most vulnerable among us deserve nothing less than our unconditional love, compassion and care.

New & Exciting Changes Coming!

In the coming days, you will see some major changes not only to our website, but the name of the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation. Over the past several months, we have been taking the steps to change the name so that it better reflects the purpose and mission of our organization. We continue to develop and update our network to help families protect the medically vulnerable from a very aggressive anti-life agenda that seems to be only intensifying throughout the country.

In addition, the Foundation continues to provide valuable education to the general public and act as a resource for patients and families facing life-threatening situations. Ultimately, we look to establish Terri Schindler Schiavo Neurological Centers to provide care for the cognitively disabled and support for their families. We are very excited about these upcoming changes, which will also include a new logo and a new website that can be seen at the same web address: www.terrisfight.org.

Thank you for believing in our mission!
Sincerely,
Bobby Schindler

We Need Your Support!

Please consider making a gift to Terri’s Foundation today. Without your support, we could not continue to be in a position to educate those on health care reform, futile care, assisted suicide and so much more. But more importantly, donating today to Terri’s Foundations will help save lives and give families a much needed voice! Thank you!
