Hit-And-Run Victims Make Incredible Recovery

(KZTV 10.com) – A woman who was given a five-percent change of survival continues to beat the odds.

Maria Anderson and her boyfriend, Tyler Sheets were struck by a hit and run driver, last August. The couple has gone through an unforgettable journey of recovery together. Maria suffered broken ribs along with a severe brain injury and had to go out of state for several months to continue her treatment.

Tyler was also hurt and suffered a concussion. "I've come a long way that's for sure, which is amazing to me, but I've had a lot of good teachers help me when I was in Omaha," said Anderson. CONTINUE
