Giving Tuesday is a great and still relatively new American charitable tradition. This annual giving event is a time for Americans to contribute to social missions they believe will make the most impact.

It's a time to combat the hollow consumerism that dominates the Christmas holidays.

As in years past, the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network is participating in GivingTuesday.

This is an incredible opportunity to support our life-affirming mission of service to the medically vulnerable across the country. I know from my own family's fight for Terri just how precious every cent is in the battle to save a life.
